No amount of shimmer is too much when it comes to Jennifer Lopez’s wardrobe—or the holidays.
The multi-hyphenate got into the Christmas spirit this week, matching her glamorous party look to her perfectly decorated tree.
Lopez shared a photo on Instagram yesterday of herself standing in front of her tree, which shone with gold ornaments, large gold-painted flowers, and silver-tinted pine cones. To coordinate, the singer and actor wore an elegant gold and silver look—the star of which was an ample cream-colored A-line skirt emblazoned with a delicate butterfly print in gold (and featuring pockets!). Lopez cinched the pleated skirt at the waist with a shiny silver belt made out of little metallic spheres that resembled ornaments.
For her top, Lopez chose a crisp white menswear-inspired shirt with a deep V neck, a sharp collar, and cuffed sleeves. She tucked the shirt it into her skirt and finished the look with sky-high silver glitter platform heels with golden accents, embellished with a small golden bee figurine, by Gucci.
But that was not all, J.Lo added even more sparkle with silver ornament earrings, a large gold bangle, and a golden manicure. She wore bronzy makeup, including a matte brown lip, and a casual ponytail.
Lopez often opts for gold or silver looks for special occasions. Last week she made a jaw-dropping arrival at Elle’s 2023 Women in Hollywood celebration in Los Angeles, wearing a molten silver-blue breastplate from Grace Ling’s Spring/Summer 2024 ready-to-wear collection. She paired the backless, sculpted piece with a floor-length black skirt, black satin platform pumps, curly crystal chandelier earrings, and a black clutch from Tyler Ellis.
And last month, the “On the Floor” singer stunned at the 2023 Los Angeles County Museum of Art+Film Gallery in gold floral lace gown with a silky bustier. She paired the look with a golden clutch, golden stilettos, and a ruby statement necklace.
